Our History
Founded in the 1990s in Missouri, American Botanicals began its journey with a deep-rooted passion for Wildcrafted Botanicals. The company quickly established a reputation for sourcing the finest wild-harvested products, laying the foundation for its future growth and success.
In 2016, American Botanicals took a significant step forward by acquiring Famarco Ltd. in Virginia Beach, VA. This expansion enhanced our capabilities and quality standards, and we now proudly hold BRC and Organic certifications. Our strategic location is ideal for both exporting and importing a wide range of spices, botanicals, and carob, both domestically and internationally. Today, we proudly stand as the largest importer and manufacturer of Carob in North America, renowned for our specialized Virginia Roast Carob. Our commitment to excellence and sustainability has driven the expansion of our wild-crafted product line, solidifying our position as a leader in the industry.
